Falmouth Police Golf Classic

The annual Falmouth Police Golf Classic is held at the Ballymeade Country Club in North Falmouth. Proceeds from the event are given in the form of scholarships to deserving graduating seniors that look to further their education.

The Golf Tournament was started 17 years ago, and has grown into one of the most prestigious tournaments in the state. Every year dozens of teams are turned away because of its popularity. The tournament routinely attracts current and past sports celebrities.

The police department is dedicated to the youth of Falmouth who are graduating and wish to continue their education. We encourage members of the public to either attend or participate in this great day.

This year’s Tournament is June 6th at Ballymeade Country Club, and is sure to be another very successful event. Dinner, awards and a raffle will follow the event.

This year we want to increase our generous donations to include several youth charities, the PAL of Cape Cod, as well as to help several local children realize their college dreams. We need your support to help us in our effort. Over the last fourteen years, we have awarded $52,000.00 in college scholarships, as well as contributing over $24,000.00 to other worthwhile causes throughout the state of Massachusetts.

As part of our fundraising effort, you may choose to sponsor tees or greens for 0. A special sponsorship has been reserved for the 18th hole in the amount of $200. You may also donate a gift certificate or other item that will be used in our popular event-ending raffle to be shared with the participants of the tournament.

If you wish to sponsor a tee/green or donate a gift certificate for the raffle, please make your tax deductible check or gift certificate payable to the Falmouth Police Golf Classic and forward it care of the Falmouth Police Golf Committee, P.O. Box 751, Falmouth, Ma 02541.

We appreciate any assistance with our efforts, and thank you in advance for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Detective (Ret.) Paul E. Robidoux Co-Chairman, Falmouth Police Golf Committee
